This car was bought new on october 23rd 1968 at paul a ziegler lincoln mercury in bishop, ca by its first owner mr. Ben elliott, who sold it to its only other owner in the early '80s. The paint on the car is finished in gorgeous original color of huron blue. After looking the car over we believe this is an original paint car. It was just carefully cut and buffed to a nice shine and shows very well! There are assorted chips on the front of the car from its road-tripping uses. The front and rear cowls show fading from the sun but have not been repainted. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find in their untouched form and we thought best to leave this one as so. This car is a totally solid, rust free car, and obviously never saw snow or salt. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a california car should. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The chrome does show some pitting from its just under 68k miles of use. The vinyl top is in nice shape with no apparent rips or tears. I like the look and think it gives the car a clean, classy look. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack-free. The interior is all original and in very good condition. The original leather seats are extremely soft and supple and look like new. Door panels dash, and carpet are all original and in perfect condition. The odometer currently shows only 67700mi, which is stated to be actual miles by the arizona title. The wood inlayed steering wheel is in excellent condition and is usually a good indicator of use and miles driven. The seats are in excellent condition with almost no ware- only some slight creasing on the driver's bolster. Under the hood is spotless and the proper decals look like new. Power windows, locks, seat, antenna, wipers, and defog work correctly. The climate control is working correctly and the a/c blows ice cold. Rear quarter windows as well as power seat switch are currently inoperable. The trunk interior is like new condition. Power Windows✔ Power Locks✔ Climate Control✔ Air Conditioning✔ Leather Seats

The car has been buffed and hand polished to a smooth as glass shine. All chrome and stainless are original and in awesome condition other than the one ding on the back bumper trim. The overall quality of the chrome is a good indicator that this car has been in a salt free environment all of its life. This car is very solid with no rust in the rockers, floors, or wheel wells whatsoever. All glass is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are soft and pliable as they should be. The car is riding on a stunning set of high dollar 22 200 spoke wheels. These flashy wheels really compliment the car. They are all brand new as well as brand new falken 22 tires. The setup was installed by a high professional in house wheel specialist and have been road force balanced for optimum ride. The original wheels and hubcaps can be substituted or purchased in addition to the custom set. The interior is in awesome shape all around. Now that i got that out of the way. The seating surfaces are flawless as well as the door panels and carpet. This continental is finished in the very stunning all black interior. The carpet is very nice and still has its lincoln embossed heel pad. The steering wheel is crack free as well as the dash which is perfect and all of the gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function correctly. The power windows were just serviced and work great. Mechanically, this lincoln runs great. The motor provides ample power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The brakes are all in good shape and stop the car. Power Windows✔ Power Locks
